The Bounty Box links up family farmers with food buyers (you) in a simple and convenient manner. Bulk consumer purchases help farmers to have a guaranteed market for fresh produce. Bounty Box members get to enjoy affordable, seasonable produce each week.  It’s the most simple, easy and convenient fresh produce system we have thought of. . . at least for now.  Most importantly, you’ll be enjoying the best and most delicious food while assuring that farmers and food artisans can earn a good living.  We also have a weekly meat, dairy and egg box called the Barnyard Box for all of you carnivores out there. We feel like this is a good approach to keeping farmers on the land while improving access to healthy food in our communities.

The Root Cellar is a retail grocery store in Downtown Columbia that features Missouri-raised farm and food products. We developed the Bounty Box and Barnyard Box Programs to help support Missouri's diverse farmers and artisan food producers.
